Browser-local calculation

The alchemy engine is designed to run in the browser. Parent names, surname, optional birthday and preference choices are used to calculate a name shortlist on the page.

The site does not require account registration and does not ask for government ID, school, address, phone number or medical information.

Information we do not intentionally collect

• We do not require login details.
• We do not intentionally store submitted parent names or baby names on a server.
• Saved candidates, theme choices or comparison lists may be stored locally in the user's browser if the feature is used.

Analytics, advertising and hosting

If analytics or advertising is added later, this page should be updated before deployment to describe the provider, cookie behavior and opt-out options.

The site is intended to be hosted as a static website on Cloudflare Pages. Standard hosting logs may be processed by the hosting provider for security, performance and abuse prevention.

Children's privacy

This site is for parents and adults researching baby names. It is not designed for children to submit personal information.
